Hi everybody !
That's it ! I am in Budapest
I arrived Wednesday, the 4th of February.
My flight was good, except the little surprise of Air France at my arrival... They lost one of my bagage ! So bad when you arrive in an unknown place and that you haven't all your stuff !
But it doesn't matter, I am going to get it this afternoon.
So, I discovered my flat
I have three girls roommates. This is really nice ! They are German, Spanich and Dutch. They're speaking really well english so I am going to be able to improve a lot my english language.
We are on the 7th district, so really in the center of Budapest. We live in Pest side. Indeed, Budapest is separated in two by the Danude : Buda side and Pest side.
I have my private bedroom. I took a photo :
It's enough big and we love it !
Yesterday, I went to my University, King Sigismund College, and I signed up. I put almost one hour to go there ! It's really far from center.
I have only class Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. It's really cool because I will can discover city and travel around the Eastern Europe.
The University is quite little but I like it
We begin class on Monday, the 9th. I can't wait to meet my Erasmus companions !
I will tell you my first day in University. In the meantime, I am going to visit Budapest !

I am with three other girls from ESDES and we are in a classroom with only Erasmus students. The classroom is composed of Spanish, Turkish and French people.
We participated in a breakfast between Erasmus students at the beginning of the semester. University offered also to us a kit of welcoming with several papers about Budapest, like tourist books.
Unfortunately, there isn't club where you could take part, but there is an association which take care of social life and in particular with Erasmus studients.
Nevertheless, we are satisfied to be in this University and to begin our semester.

Regarding a famous event in Budapest, there is the Spring Festival.
The Spring festival of Budapest is organized the second about fifteen of March. There are more than 200 shows, like jazz concerts, concerts of classical music, shows of ballet of dance, shows of folk dance, theater performances, projections of movies, etc... The festival takes place in 60 places of the capital, like in the Theater Thália, the National Opera of Hungary and the Palace of the Arts.
And there is on the Heroes Square, BUDAPEST who is written with enlightened letters.
Like in France, Hungary has a National Day. This is the 15th of March.
They commemorate the revolution of 1848. Hungarians lived under domination of Austrians. On March, the 15th, 1848, a young Hungarian poet, Sandor Petöfi, called his fellow countrymen to lift up himself. He took the lead of a procession to go to the Buda Castle, bring a list of 12 demands to the Austrian government. He asked in particular for the end of the censorship and for the freedom of the media.
There was a levying of flag in front of Parliament, a parade of the military guarding up to the national Museum, the place where the revolution of 1848 had begun. In the afternoon, Prime Minister pronounced a speech on the square of Parliament. There was a lot of people because the government called its sympathizers to come, to show that they are so numerous at least as the opponents.
Concerning symbols, Hungary's flag is red, white and green. Sometimes, there is on the flag the coat of arms of Hungary with the crown. Indeed, Holy Crown of Hungary is symbol of the Hungarian monarchy and one of the attributes of the Hungarian sovereignty. We can see it in Parliament. The crown of Hungary consists at present of an oblique cross, a spherical cap and a precious circle.

The nature of the regime of the government of Hungary is a parliamentary democracy. The President of the Republic is Janos Ader, elected by the parliament on May 2nd, 2012.
Prime Minister is Viktor Orban. He manages the party Fidesz and detains 133 seats to the Parliament, on 199.
The Fidesz is a Hungarian political right party. It is based on the conservatism and militates for the preservation of the Hungarian traditions. It has anti-communist ideas, declares itself nationalist and is for a Christian democracy. However, it is criticized for its authoritarian trends.
The Democratic Coalition is a Hungarian political left-center party, of which the president is Ferenc Gyurcsány. There is also the Hungarian Socialist party.
Then, the Jobbik is an extreme right-wing Hungarian political party, founded in 2003, and chaired by Gábor Vona. Jobbik is, in the name of the conservation of the national identity, for the return of the Christian values, the family and the authority in the Hungarian State. It positions against the political liberalism and the communism. This one would also have anti-semitic speeches. Jobbik is favorable to the reunification of the moral teaching and the religious education. It also opposes the abortion and is against the immigration.
The party gains ground in Hungary. It beat records, during the general election, in the northeast of the country, taking advantage of tensions with the Roma minority in this underprivileged region of Hungary.
